Former Lighthouse Center worker accused of sexual assault takes plea deal, sentenced to 10 years

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A former mental health technician at a care center in Augusta has taken a plea deal.

Jacey Haskell worked at Lighthouse Care Center, a facility with a history of sexual abuse allegations.

Haskell was one of two Lighthouse workers accused of sexually assaulting patients in 2017.

District Attorney Natalie Paine confirms with News 12 Haskell has taken a plea deal instead of going to trial. he was sentenced to 10 years behind bars followed by eight years of probation.
