UPDATE | Lanes of Deans Bridge Road reopened after structure fire

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Lanes of Deans Bridge Road have been reopened after a structure fire at the old Long John Silver's.

Crews are unsure what exactly caused the blaze.

6:10 a.m.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A portion of Deans Bridge Road has been closed due to a structure fire.

The fire is at an old Long John Silver's. There is heavy smoke in the area which led to the closure.

According to dispatchers, the fire broke out around 5:00 a.m.
