Fire crews put out massive barn fire in Aiken

AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Aiken Public Safety says the barn fire on Bank Mills Road in Aiken is out.

They say the call for the fire came in around 2:30 PM.

Officials say there were horses inside the barn when it caught fire, but they managed to get all of the horses out safely.

Crews are still trying to figure out how the fire started.

AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Aiken City dispatch confirms crews are battling a fire in a barn on Banks Mill Road in Aiken.

Witnesses say the flames have fully engulfed the structure. Dispatch tells us no one is inside the barn.
