Nursing home 'a total loss' after fire rescue crews fight the flames

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Fire Rescue officials say the nursing home that went up in flames tonight is "a total loss."

The Augusta Fire Department is continuing to fight the flames at the Augusta Villa Health and Rehabilitation Center on Lee Street.

They say all 11 residents in the building were able to get out safely. They will all be relocated to two other health and rehabilitation centers in the area in the time being.
