NORTH AUGUSTA, SC (WRDW/WAGT) -- North Augusta Department of Public Safety will charge Wendi Nelson, the woman accused of abuse against several children at a daycare facility, with four more charges.

Holding back tears and anger, six parents sat down to tell News 12 what they say they saw Wendi Nelson do to children on camera.

"The very first one was forcefully grabbing him by the arm. The second video was having to watch my son have his head banged into the floor," said Dana Neal, a parent.

"She grabbed Madison by the hair, ear area and just dragged her where she wanted her to go," said Nateriah Cochran, a parent.

"She kicked my baby. That's one," said BreUnna Perry, a parent.

The first report came March 4 when a parent reported seeing a video of Nelson grabbing her 3-year-old and throwing her to another seat.

After watching more video, detectives arrested Nelson on five counts of unlawful conduct. They found her working at another daycare.

"To find out somebody I have known for a long time and trusted would do that to my kid is heartbreaking," said Neal.

Reports allege Nelson stepped on a child’s hands, kicked a child in the head and slapped a child on the back of the head.

"I hope God has mercy on your soul because you don't play with his children," said Perry.

Although the daycare has cameras you can watch anytime, unless you know what you're looking for, some of this is hard to spot.

News 12 watched one video at least five times but it wasn't until the director said where to look that what the director and detectives were seeing was found.

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC (WRDW/WAGT) -- North Augusta Department of Public Safety will charge Wendi Nelson, the woman accused of abuse against several children at a daycare facility, with four more charges.

Tuesday, detectives took more arrest warrants to a judge to sign off for approval for those four additional charges. Those warrants have been secured by a judge, and Nelson will be charged with four more counts of unlawful conduct toward a child.

Nelson, officials said, will turn herself in Wednesday morning to face those charges.
