UPDATE | Husband accused of hittting, killing wife with car enters not guilty plea

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A husband accused of hitting and killing his wife with a car entered a not guilty plea in court Friday, according to the Richmond County Clerk of Court.

Curtis Matthew Diles allegedly hit his wife, Christine, with his car and took off on Hephzibah-McBean Road in early June. Christine later died from blunt impact injuries after the crash. The couple has two kids together. Diles faces three felony counts of vehicular homicide and one misdemeanor count of driving with a suspended license.

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A man charged with hitting and killing his wife with a car has been indicted in her murder.

Curtis Matthew Diles has been indicted with three felony counts of vehicular homicide and one misdemeanor count of driving with a suspended license.

An arrest warrant states Diles hit his wife, Christine, with his car and took off on Hephzibah-McBean Road in early June. Christine later died from blunt impact injuries after the crash. According to the report, Curtis and Christine have two kids together.

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A preliminary hearing is set for Tuesday afternoon for a man accused of hitting and killing his wife with a car.

Curtis Matthew Diles will go before a judge on charges including hit and run and homicide by vehicle in the first degree. An arrest warrant states Diles hit his wife, Christine, with his car and took off on Hephzibah-McBean Road in early June. Christine later died from blunt impact injuries after the crash. According to the report, Curtis and Christine have two kids together.

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A GBI autopsy report released today reveals Christine Renee Diles died from blunt impact injuries of the torso.

Authorities had charged Curtis Matthew Diles with a felony of leaving the scene and homicide by vehicle after an incident occurred June 6 in the 1300 block of Hepzibah-McBean Road. His wife, 23- year old Christine Renee Diles, was killed after being hit by a car. The two had two children together.

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Curtis Matthew Diles is charged with a felony of leaving the scene and homicide by vehicle. His wife 23- year old Christine Renee Diles, of the 1300 block of Hephzibah-Mcbean Road was killed after being hit by a car.
Curtis and Christine had two children together.

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- The name of the woman killed after being hit by a car on Hephzibah-McBean Road has been released.

Coroner Mark Bowen says the victim is 23-year-old Christine Renee Diles, of the 1300 block of Hephzibah-McBean Road.

Diles will be sent to the GBI Crime Lab for an autopsy.

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Deputies have cleared the scene of the accident on Hephzibah-McBean Road. The woman who was killed still has not been identified. We are still working to find out if charges will be filed. We'll continue to follow this story.

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A car versus person accident happened early Monday morning on Hephzibah-McBean Road, leaving one woman dead.

Dispatch says the call came in around 1:36 a.m. at the 1300 block of Hephzibah-McBean Rd. The road is currently closed at Mossycup Ct.

Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen says that the victim was pronounced dead at the scene about 2:50 a.m. The body will be transported to the GBI Crime Lab in Atlanta for an autopsy.

The victim's identity will be released once the family is notified.
