Crews respond to fire at North Augusta waste facility

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Crews on the scene tell News 12 the flames are all out, and they're only working with smoke now.
NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- North Augusta crews are working a fire at the Mixed Use Recycling Facility, or MURF, Monday morning.
The building is located on Claypit Road, near Womrath Road. It's located near the building where the animal shelter holds animals. News 12 is told none of those animals are injured and crews are caring for them.
No injuries have been reported in the fire at the MURF.
