AUGUSTA, GA (WRDW/WAGT) -- Clint Eastwood is returning to the Peach State to film his next movie even as parts of Hollywood consider a boycott against Georgia due to the recently signed abortion law.

According to TheHill.com, the Hollywood legend will film "The Ballad of Richard Jewell," a movie focusing on the 1996 Olympic Park bombing in Atlanta.

Jewell was infamously accused of the bombing, but later exonerated.

Eastwood will return to Georgia this summer. Eastwood filmed his most recent movie, "The Mule" in Augusta in 2018.

Meanwhile, other Hollywood production houses, such as Netflix and Disney, say they are reconsidering filming in Georgia if the recent abortion law goes into effect in January.
