Discovery of body in Aiken County spurs arrests for missing Augusta woman

JACKSON, SC (WRDW/WAGT) -- Arrests have been made in the disappearance of a missing Augusta woman after investigators with the Richmond County Sheriff's Office and the Aiken County Sheriff's Office located the body of a woman Wednesday night.
According to Aiken County, deputies were called to Gum Swamp Road around 7:05 p.m. Wednesday at the request of Richmond County authorities.
Investigators found a woman's body buried in a shallow grave.
however, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Investigators have officially charged two individuals in
as a result of this investigation.
The two individuals from Augusta arrested are Harry Miller and Brian Foster. Miller has been charged with Concealing the Death of Another, False Statements in a Government Matter, and Tampering with Evidence. Foster has been charged with Concealing the Death of Another.
The Aiken County Coroner's Office says they have not yet positively identified the woman's body. An autopsy is scheduled Saturday to determine the cause of death and to help identify the woman.
The investigation into this case remains ongoing.
