AUGUSTA, GA (WRDW/WAGT) -- A 29-year-old woman will be charged in a shooting at an Augusta nightclub, according to the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.

Neisheena K. Griffin is charged with five counts of aggravated assault following the shooting at Edge Nightclub on 258 Gordon Highway early Friday morning.

The shooting stemmed from an argument between Griffin and five others inside the nightclub.

The argument was so fierce, investigators said, Griffin and the others were asked to leave the club.

That's when Griffin, according to investigators, retrieved a gun from her car and opened fire on the victim and four others that were leaving in the same car.

The victim was struck in the head, deputies said, and taken to AUMC for treatment. She was last listed in critical but stable condition.
