BREAKING | One dead, one critical after early morning crash

BURKE COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A woman is dead and a man is seriously injured after an early morning car crash in Burke County.
The accident happened at 3:31 a.m. on the Highway 25 Bypass, near the Burke County Board of Education Office.
62-year-old Tommie Wright was driving the car. He is in critical condition Sunday morning, while passenger 56-year-old Bonnie Young died on the scene.
Chief Lewis Blanchard with the Burke County Sheriff's Office shares his condolences with Young and Wright's family and friends.
The investigation has been turned over to Georgia State Patrol.
