AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- In a new study by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation, Augusta is ranked 38th out of 100 for the worst places for allergies.

News 12 talked to an allergist who says one of the reasons it's so bad is because we have so many allergy seasons.

Tree pollen season starts in late January. Grass season is now through Memorial Day and late summer is ragweed season.

Columbia, South Carolina ranks in at 19.
