AUGUSTA, GA (WRDW/WAGT) -- Well, how about that? The U.S. News and World Report just released its Best Places to Live and little ol' Augusta is getting some love.
Ranked No. 72, the magazine gives Augusta high marks for value and quality of life.
"Located near the South Carolina border, Augusta, Georgia, is the state's second largest metropolitan area," the magazine said. "Most out-of-towners recognize Augusta as the home of the Masters golf tournament, but those who live here know there's much more to the area than fairways and sand traps."
The magazine also ranks Augusta No. 40 in Best Places to Retire.
