UPDATE | Man shot in Warrenville has died

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- According to the coroner's office, the victim of a shooting has died.

39-year-old Travis Young of Trenton was pronounced dead at Augusta University Medical Center.

The autopsy for the victim is scheduled for tomorrow.

The Aiken County Sheriff's Office is investigating the shooting.

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- News 12 is learning more about what happened when a man was shot in Warrenville early Wednesday.

According to the Aiken County Sheriff's Office, the man living at the home on Keith Drive was shot and taken to a hospital.

Witnesses say they heard gunshots outside and they initially reported a drive-by shooting. Investigators have not been able to fully determine if that was what happened.

5:48 a.m.

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- At least one person is injured after a shooting at a Warrenville home.

The Aiken County Sheriff's Office tells News 12 it happened around 5:09 Wednesday morning on the 100 block of Keith Drive, in Warrenville.

Officials say they believe it may have been a drive-by shooting, but they're still investigating to find out exactly what happened.

At least one person was shot. The victim was transported to a hospital, but their condition is unknown.

No suspect information has been made available.
