WARRENVILLE, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A developing story out of Warrenville. A Circle K robbed at gunpoint two times in less than a week. Deputies say they think the same person is behind the crimes.

"Thinking that somebody would come in and put your life at risk for them to have a few bucks is just, I don't grasp the thought process," Jody Padgett said.

Jody Padgett is a regualr at this Circle K. He was shocked this kind of crime happened in his town. Not only that, he was worried about his friend, an employee of the store.

"I said, it wasn't you was it, when I saw her," Padgett said. "And she said it was. I said, man I can't imagine."

Their kids went to school together. You can say they've crossed paths more than once. She was one of the employees who came face to face with the suspect and his gun.

"She did whatever it took to be OK and I'm just glad she was alright," Padgett said. "And then I'm not sure who was here the second time it happened, but I'm thankful that everybody is OK."

Now a sign sits taped to the door. It reads, "for safety reasons, the door will be locked from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m."

"When one person does something there's a ripple affect that the rest of us have to pay for because they thought what they needed was more important than anything else so, you know, it just makes it a little more inconvenient for the rest of us," Padgett said.

Police are still looking for the suspect. Padgett hopes when he's caught, the punishment fits the crime.

"I hope they find whoever did it, so these folks don't have to worry about it again," Padgett said.

The suspect is described as being 5'10'' in height and 210 pounds. He has a goatee and was last seen on Saturday, wearing a stripped shirt, blue jeans and a denim jacket.

You can call the Aiken County Sheriff's Office or Crimestoppers if you recognize him.
