UPDATE | Second suspect in Beech Island murder denied bond

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Christopher Blitchington, who is facing charges for failure to stop for blue light, accessory after the fact to felony or murder, and on a drug charge for carrying 10 grams or more of meth or cocaine, was denied bond.
His case will be sent to General Sessions Court.
Blitchington was arrested in connection with the death investigation of a body found on Avalon Lane in Beech Island.
AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- The Aiken County Coroner's office has identified a man found dead on Avalon Lane on August 4th.
They say 26-year-old Allen A. Jones of Columbia, S.C. was killed. The coroner says his cause of death is multiple gunshots.

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Another suspect has been arrested following the arrest of two suspects over the weekend in the Aug. 4 death investigation of a body found on Avalon Lane in Beech Island.
Christopher Blitchington of Langley is facing charges for failure to stop for blue light, accessory after the fact to felony or murder, and on a drug charge for carrying 10g or more of meth or cocaine.
Bond has been denied for another suspect arrested following a high-speed chase with shots fired overnight Saturday. The judge denied bond for Dylan Raborn, 23, due to previous charges.
Kristopher Buckland was also arrested on aggravated assault and firearm possession charges, however, Aiken County Sheriff's Office stated he will not face charges in the homicide.

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- An earlier body found on Avalon Lane in Beech Island is now being considered a murder investigation.
According to Captain Eric Abdullah with the Aiken County Sheriff's Office, the gunshot wound does not appear to be self-inflicted.
On Friday around 7:19 am, Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 200 block of Avalon Lane, Beech Island, and found a body laying on top of a brush pile on the side of the road. The death investigation is ongoing.
AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office has found a dead body.
On Friday around 7:19 am, Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 200 block of Avalon Lane, Beech Island, and found lifeless person according to authorities. When the responding deputies arrived on scene, the 911 caller said the person was riding a bicycle. The deceased person was laying on top of a brush pile on the side of the road according to officials.
Investigators and the Aiken County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene. The victim is a black male who appeared to have sustained a gunshot wound. This death investigation is ongoing.
