Man dead, three other adults and two children injured in Atomic Road crash

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- The Aiken County Coroner's Office has identified the person who died in a crash on Atomic Road and Old Nail Road Sunday.

The coroner says Sylvester Gamble, 51, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was from Wadley, Georgia.

According to a release, Gamble was not wearing a seatbelt and was speeding when he lost control of his 2004 Lexus and hit the median, overturning several times.

Three adults and two children were also in the car and they were all taken to AUMC with non-life threatening injuries.

Toxicology is pending.
