UPDATE | Accident on I-20 East near Grovetown cleared

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- According to Georgia State Patrol, traffic was merging on the ramp onto I-20 eastbound at the Lewiston Road exit.

A black BMW reportedly hit the back of a Chevrolet Silverado, who then hit the back of a Nissan Altima.

The right lane of I-20 eastbound at exit 190 was blocked for about 45 minutes.

The only person injured was the driver of the BMW, who complained of head, neck and back pain.

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- GDOT says the accident just past the Grovetown Exit (Exit 190) on I-20 East has been cleared.

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Columbia County dispatchers say there's an accident on I-20 East just past the Grovetown Exit (190) causing some delays.

They say Georgia State Troopers are handling the accident.

GA 511 says one car is involved. The right lane is currently blocked.

They have no other information at this time.
