UPDATE | Three suspects formally charged for Hephzibah man's death

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Three suspects have been formally charged in the death of a Hephzibah man.

Frank Asuncion is charged with Malice Murder, Felony Murder, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felon, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

Jessica Bryant is charged with Malice Murder, Felony Murder, and Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Felon.

Kenneth Straughn, Jr., is charged with Malice Murder, Felony Murder, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felon, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

Deputies believe these three are responsible for the death of a man found shot in his backyard on Patterson Bridge Road in July.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Richmond County deputies made three arrests in connection to a Hephzibah man's murder back in July.

Investigators arrested 31-year-old Jessica Bryant of Augusta and 33-year-old Frank Asuncion of Augusta. Both are charged with murder in the death of Antoine Jones. They are in custody in Richmond County.

In addition to the murder charge, Asuncion was also charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

A third suspect, 41-year-old Kenneth Straughn of Grovetown, was also charged with murder in the case. He's already in custody in the Columbia County Detention Center on unrelated charges.

Investigators say they made the arrests in the case after interviewing Jessica Bryant.

Deputies found Jones shot in his backyard on Patterson Bridge Road in July.
