BARNWELL COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) --Investigators found Timothy Brison's body near Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Today, Mt. Zion prayed for the family's closure and Brison's justice.

Brison's mother reported him missing at the end of March and less than a month later, investigators find a body near the Barnwell and Bamberg County line, just a short way from Mt. Zion.

"I'm not sure how they discovered it," Pastor Moses said. "I was made aware that a body was discovered near our property somewhere near the midnight hour."

He explained that a church official received the call first. Pastor Moses found out through the church official. He says the body was back in the wooded area behind his building. Over the last few weeks, there was nothing that would suggest to him things were less than normal in the area.

"Nothing seemed off. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. There were no smells and so everything appeared to be just fine."

But it was far from fine-- the Bamberg County Coroner said Brison's body was burned and badly decomposed.

"We are praying for all of the families. We're praying for those four young men and we're praying for justice."

The congregation is praying for the victim and the suspects. Moses adds, "All of the families need prayer."

Edwin Jones, Dwayne Prophet., Montrell Isaac, and Darren Saxon are all behind bars in connection to the disappearance and death of Timothy Brison.

While they sit in jail, Mt. Zion plans to stand in faith.

"Even though there maybe some unrest and some uneasy feelings we are learning that our total dependence should be in God."

BARNWELL COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- The coroner confirms that the body found near the Barnwell/Bamberg line is that of 19-year-old Timothy Brison.

The coroner confirms that the body was burned and badly decomposed.

The exact cause of death is unknown and officials are not sure how long the body has been there for.

BARNWELL COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Four men are in jail in connection with the disappearance of a Barnwell man.

SLED says 23-year-old Dwayne Lieutentant Prophet, Jr., 27-year-old Edwin Lyn Jones, 24-year-old Darren Latroy Saxon and Montrell Isaac are all being charged with accessory after the fact to felony A, B, C, or murder.

They say all three men, Prophet, Jones, and Saxon, were booked into the Barnwell County Detention Center.

According to SLED agents, Montrell Davonta Isaac was been moved to the Aiken County Detention Center.

The whereabouts of 19-year-old Timothy Brison are still unknown.

BARNWELL COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A 19-year-old man is missing from Barnwell County.

Timothy Brison's mother says he 19-year-old son has been missing since Tuesday.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a gray sweatshirt in Blackville, S.C. Brison is 5'3" and has hazel eyes.

News 12 NBC 26 has reached out to the Barnwell County Sheriff's Office for additional information.
