(WRDW/WAGT) -- We conclude our Black History Month edition of Caught Being Good with a highlight on the Penny Savings & Loan Bank. It was the premier financial institution owned and operated by blacks in the 1920s.
When other financial institutions denied people of color, 'The Negro Bank' as it was called, was there. Corey Rogers also discusses the future of the once-bustling business district known as The Golden Blocks.
