Originally from Hopkinsville, KY, (just an hour north of Nashville), Brady joined the News 12 NBC 26 team after graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Kentucky School of Journalism and Media.
At UK, he earned a bachelor's of science in journalism and minored in business. During his four years in Lexington, he trained as a reporter and anchor with the UK Student News Network and the Kentucky Kernel newspaper-- both student journalism organizations.
Brady began his career in journalism as an intern with the Kentucky New Era. He spent the following summer interviewing players and coaches as an intern with the Tennessee Titans Radio Network in Nashville, TN. He accepted a position covering the team for A to Z Sports Nashville during the 2017 season. In the spring of 2018, he traveled to London, England, to intern with the CBS News London Bureau. He then continued his journey as an intern in New York City with CBS Sunday Morning.
Most recently, he worked as a digital producer and part-time multimedia journalist with Gray TV station WKYT. Brady credits the experience with rounding out the skills needed to be successful in local television.
When he's not out in the field or in the studio, you can find Brady on the golf course, playing guitar or watching sports. He's excited to report on the issues that matter to those in the CSRA and shed light on problems not yet realized. He believes journalists have the responsibility to give a voice to the voiceless and provide information for change to happen.
