ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Orangeburg County investigators told us they are asking the public for information about the shooting death of a 22-year-old in 2023.
Their investigators are still searching for answers into how a man was killed in a shooting on August 27, 2023.
Early on August 27, 2023, authorities said that Raquan Rollins was driving on Old Number Six Highway near Harvest Court about three miles west of Eutawville.
Suspect identified in killing at federal prison in Edgefield
Authorities applied for a warrant to take a DNA swab of fellow inmate Corderius Johnson, who’s suspected of killing Joseph Hamilton, 36, on June 4.

Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said a passerby called in a silver Honda that appeared to have wrecked.
Orangeburg County Sheriff’s investigators identified Rollins as the driver of the vehicle.
The Santee man had suffered a gunshot wound, according to deputies.
“We’re bringing these cases back to the forefront, this being a case that’s a year old. Somebody will have information on this case, and that’s who we’re asking to call us,” Ravenell said.
