AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Slow warm up expected through the week, with high temperatures back into the 60s by mid-week.  Clouds will increase tonight and Tuesday, with an isolated shower or two possible on Tuesday. Sunny skies return Wednesday, but clouds will redevelop Thanksgiving as uncertainty in the forecast grows. Rain chances look to arrive on Friday and possibly hanging on into the weekend.

High pressure still hanging on, with an increase in clouds tonight. Highs will be cooler than average this afternoon in the upper 50s to 60 degrees.

Tuesday, Isolated showers are possible in the southern portions of the forecast area. Sunny skies and highs in the mid 60s are expected on Wednesday.

Another front is expected to move through the region Thanksgiving night into Friday. Models are not agreeing on the timing of the front and the amount of moisture associated with the front. As of now, showers look possible Friday with highs in the mid to low 60s. Mornings each day past Monday look to stay chilly but more seasonal the mid to low 40s.
