A beautiful start to the work week expected.
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Dry and seasonable conditions today and Tuesday. Cooler temperatures as a dry cold front moves through with increasing chances for rain Wednesday night through Friday. Drier conditions for the weekend with below average temperatures. Potential for frost/freeze this weekend.
Dry cold front to the northwest with seasonable conditions today. Highs will move into the upper 60s to low 70s. Cold front moves through the area Tuesday, stalling near the southern forecast area. Dry and seasonable conditions once again.
Moisture increases Wednesday with chances for showers Wednesday night. Cooler conditions as the front continues to push south.
Moisture increases further with rain likely Thursday through Thursday night and chance of rain Friday. Drying out for the weekend as high pressure settles over the area. Potential for frost/freeze this weekend.
We also have Subtropical Storm Wanda in the Atlantic Basin. With the formation of this system, we have exhausted of all our regular storm names for the 2021 Atlantic Hurricane Season and will have to use a supplemental list for any systems that develop the rest of this season.
