WARRENVILLE S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - A Warrenville man is facing multiple charges for reportedly attempting to shoot a victim twice in the same day.

Ricky Cochran, 23, was charged Tuesday with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of violation of court order protection and domestic violence in the third degree, according to arrest records.

On June 5, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office responded to Robbe Street in Warrenville in reference to a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, the victim told authorities the shooter fled the area in a white pickup truck, an incident report states. After checking the area, authorities left the scene.

About 20 minutes later, officers received another call about a shooting in the area.

When deputies arrived back on the scene, the victim identified the shooter as Cochran.

The further told authorities Cochran has attempted to harm him in the past for being friends with his wife.

Authorities noted in an incident report that Cochran’s wife has an active order of protection prohibiting him from being around or having contact with her.

Cochran was charged and taken to the Aiken County Detention Center.
