Redcliffe Elementary placed on lockdown for a little over an hour in Aiken

AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - A school in Aiken was placed on a hard lockdown for a time this morning, according to officials.

The lockdown occurred starting at 10:30 a.m. due to a possible danger at Redcliffe Elementary, according to Aiken County school officials.

After a building search, law enforcement officers gave the all-clear at 11:40 a.m. at the school, 22 Double Springs Road.
