AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - With the Georgia runoff activity winding down, Richmond County election officials say there are a few things left to do before they certify results:

  • 10 a.m. today: The Board of Elections met to consider the provisional ballots cast. The board decided to accept 106 provisional ballots and deny 42. There are also 34 military, overseas and “other” ballots that will included.
  • 2 p.m. today: Officials will count the 140 ballots approved at 10 a.m.
  • Noon Tuesday: Election officials will meet in the municipal building at 535 Telfair St. to certify the results.
