One arrested, two suspects wanted in series of Burke Co. burglaries

BURKE CO., Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - On Dec. 31, around 6 a.m, Burke County deputies responded to a home on the 200 block of Brigham Landing Road in reference to a burglary.

While on the scene, investigators learned that several other residences had also been burglarized in the immediate area, all occurring between the hours of 3 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Items stolen from the residences included guns, ammunition, money, and electronics.

Officials say further investigation of physical evidence led to the home of Jason Brigham Jr., 28, on the 1000 block of Main Street. Investigators did take Brigham into custody. Brigham was arrested and is held at the Burke County Detention Center on numerous burglary and weapons charges.

As the investigation continued, two other individuals were identified. Deputies are now looking for Marquel Bynes, 18, of Sardis, and Keon Flemming, 19, of Sardis, in connection to these burglaries.

Both Bynes and Flemming are considered to be armed and dangerous. If you see these individuals, do not approach them and contact your local law enforcement or 9-1-1 immediately.
