Canadian surface high pressure will slowly modify this week. Expect dry weather through Wednesday with warming temperatures. The remnants of Tropical Storm Beta should pass through the region Thursday night through Saturday. We do not expect significant rainfall from this disturbance. A strong cold front is expected to move into the Southeast U.S. early next week with a chance of showers or thunderstorms.

We’ll stay a bit breezy today with winds between 6-12 mph for the afternoon, with mostly sunny skies. Highs are cooler than average in the low to mid 70s to start off the week.

Tuesday marks the first day of Fall and it will feel like it with high temps in the mid to upper 70s, fortunately the winds will be lighter.

Wednesday, high pressure moves offshore, however it will still provide the region with dry weather with near seasonable temperatures. As the remnants of Beta move through Friday into the weekend, we’ll see scattered showers possible. Highs will warm in to the low to mid 80s with lows each night in the low to mid 60s. Keep it here for updates.
