Augusta, GA – The GreenJackets are looking for a few good people to fill game day positions in the 2008 season. On Saturday, March 1st the GreenJackets will hold a job fair at Lake Olmstead Stadium from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm for individuals interested in working at the stadium.

Applicants are asked to dress appropriately and be ready to interview because the team will be conducting interviews on site during the day.

“This is a great opportunity for people that want to spend the summer working in a baseball atmosphere,” GreenJackets General Manager Nick Brown said. “Game day staffers are real important to the operation in making sure the fans have a great experience at the game.”

The GreenJackets are looking to fill the following positions for the 2008 season:

• Ushers
• Retail Store Staff
• Parking Attendants
• Ticket Takers
• Box Office Staff
• Kid Zone Staff
• On-field Game Entertainment Staff
• Other Game Day Positions

The GreenJackets play 70 regular season home games during the summer from April-September.

If applicants can not make it to the job fair on Saturday, they can still apply for a position by stopping by the GreenJackets office and filling out an application.

The 20th Anniversary season begins at home on Thursday, April 3 with a four game series against Greensboro. The home stand will finish on Sunday, April 6; one day before The Masters first practice round will begin. It is the first time since the 2003 season that the GreenJackets will open at home before The Masters.
