ADVISORIES: NONE

SATURDAY: PATCHY FOG EARLY, SUN AND CLOUDS, HOT AND BREEZY, HIGH 95, WIND: E 6-12 MPH.

SATURDAY NIGHT: PARTLY CLOUDY, LOW 70, WIND: E 2-4 MPH

SUNDAY: SUN AND CLOUDS, 20% CHANCE PM STORM, HIGH 92, WIND: E 5-10 MPH.

WEATHER DISCUSSION : HIGH PRESSURE REMAINS IN CONTROL OF OUR WEATHER. THAT MEANS WE WILL CONTINUE TO HAVE HOT AFTERNOONS AND MOSTLY DRY CONDITIONS ACROSS THE 2STATE THROUGH THE WEEKEND. LOW RAIN CHANCES DO RETURN TO THE FORECAST ON SUNDAY, BUT THE WAY THINGS STAND NOW, JUST 20% COVERAGE. EVEN WITH THE RAIN CHANCES, AFTERNOON HIGHS WILL REMAIN ABOVE SEASONABLE AVERAGE FOR THE BETTER PART OF THE WEEK AHEAD.

IN THE TROPICS, JUST NORTH OF CUBA, THERE IS AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE THAT IS HAVING A HARD TIME ORGANIZING. THE HURRICANE CENTER HAS INDICATED THAT THERE IS STILL A CHANCE OF DEVELOPMENT OVER THE NEXT FIVE DAYS AS IT MOVES WEST TO THE GULF OF MEXICO. IT MAY BECOME THE SEASON'S NEXT TROPICAL STORM. THERE ARE A FEW OTHER AREAS IN THE TROPICAL ATLANTIC AND GULF OF MEXICO THAT WE WILL BE WATCHING THIS WEEKEND.
