Superstorm Sandy Update - 7 p.m.

From Chief Meteorologist Shane Butler: Superstorm Sandy continues to weaken but still producing rain, strong winds and heavy snow. The circulation center of the storm is located over Pennsylvania but rain is falling even over parts of the upstate of South Carolina.

Snowfall in the mountains of West Virginia has reached over 2 feet in spots.

Around here, the winds from Sandy will start to relax later Wednesday. Improving sky conditions but much colder temps are in store for our region the rest of this week.
