Superstorm Sandy - Noon Update

The remnants of Sandy are weakening over Pennsylvania. The storm has lost its initial punch but continues to impact the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. Flood and coastal flood watches, warnings and advisories remain in effect in many areas, and winter storm warnings and advisories stretch from the mountains of Pennsylvania to North Carolina.

The storm is moving northward today through western Pennsylvania and western New York, with the core of the system expected to reach east Canada by this evening. The effects that the CSRA will continue to notice is the gusty winds. West winds 10-20 mph but will begin to subside overnight.
