AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- It was rain for the greater Augusta area on Saturday morning, but areas to the east -- all the way from Columbia, S.C., to Raleigh, N.C. -- saw snow.

3 p.m. update

From Chief Meteorologist Shane Butler: "Models are indicating our next push of cold air to come in the 4 to 7 p.m. hour today. With the cold air will come NW winds from 10 - 17 mph and maybe a few snowflakes for the CSRA. Especially if you live on the South Carolina side, chances to see flurries looks to be slightly greater. No accumulations on streets is expected at this time. Bridges and elevated roadways may become slick."
