ATLANTA (AP) — Forecasters say north Georgia residents should brace for heavy rains and possible snow over the next few days.
Meteorologists say rain that begins on Sunday could turn to snow by Tuesday. But they say it's unlikely any will accumulate because the ground is expected to stay warm.
Temperatures across the northern part of the state are also expected to drop to a low near freezing by Tuesday.
