Man rescued from jeep after getting stuck on flooded road
Aiken County deputies had to rescue a man from his jeep after he drove into standing water on a flooded road. It happened around 4:30 AM on Jackson Road, just off Main Street in downtown Jackson.

JACKSON, S.C.---Aiken County deputies had to rescue a man from his jeep after he drove into standing water on a flooded road.
It happened around 4:30 AM on Jackson Road. That's near Landing Road, and just off Main Street in downtown Jackson.
The Aiken County Sheriff's office tells News 12 the man called 9-1-1 after he got stuck on a flooded street on his way to the Aiken County boat ramp. Rising water trapped him in his vehicle.
Authorities say there's been a significant amount of rain, and they believe the man did not realize how deep the water was.
Deputies were able to rescue the man from his vehicle, and wreckers are now trying to take his vehicle out of the water.
When: Saturday, Feb. 11, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Evans Government Center.
