APPLING,. GA-- After looking at the damage it caused, a Columbia County tornado has been upgraded.

The county's EMS Director, Pam Tucker says the National Weather Service upgraded the tornado from an EF0 to an EF1.

She says the upgrade is due to damage to mobile homes on Ray Owens Road.

you know im sorry to hear about this mans lost but what about my sister who was in this mans place at the time thank god she is alive huh my sister eva joyner was buried under this mans hose

If the upgrade was based on the tornado in Appling, why have you not given it more coverage?
