Portion of Richards Road closed through next week
A portion of Richards Road is closed due to a sewer line collapse.

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The 2100 block of Richards Road, between Peach Orchard Road and Margaret Court, is closed.
The road was closed today and will remain closed through the completion of repairs which they expect to be next Wednesday.
A sewer line has collapsed int he center of the street and the entire line has to be replaced.
Residents in the area will have access to their homes.
Other drivers may use Fleming Avenue, Peach Orchard Road, Lumpkin Road to avoid the area.
