One woman is dead after a two-vehicle accident on Jimmie Dyess Parkway.

It happened near the intersection with Belair Road around 4:15 this afternoon. One car ended up hitting a wall there.

The southbound lanes of Jimmie Dyess, going towards Fort Gordon, are closed.

Richmond County deputies tell News 12 a woman died in this accident. We also know two other people were taken to MCG. Deputies say they are in critical condition.
