GROVETOWN, Ga.---Columbia County authorities say a tractor trailer was involved in a serious accident on I-20 westbound.

It happened just after the 190 on-ramp at around 5 o'clock this afternoon. A white Ford Explorer was merging onto I-20 from the Lewiston Road ramp when it crashed into an 18-wheeler. The Explorer flipped and landed upside down in the median.

The driver's injuries are not life-threatening.
