NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.---At midday Friday, North Augusta police warned motorists coming from Georgia to avoid the 13th Street bridge into South Carolina to avoid long delays.

Traffic is backed up by drivers seeking gasoline at a station near the state line.

The other ways to get into North Augusta from Georgia include the I-20 bridge and the Highway 1 bridge.

Enough gas for the college football games though. Heaven forbid if the games were rescheduled

There is no reason for people to act this way. People are creating this shortage themselves by filling every car that sit's in there yard for future use. If we would all just continue to purchase as we have in the past none of this would be happening. I purchase 10 gallon's a week, more then enough to get me back and forth to work for the week. This is all just a great big scare just like when these same people hear there is a Ice storm comming and they run out and buy everything in the grocery store's. It's not like gas is not being delivered. It's just not comming in like it use to. So naturaly if everyone in the CSRA fills there 3 car's up there is going to be a shortage.

I guess these people didn't get enough gas yesterday when they were sitting in line waiting on gas then too!!!
