WARREN CTY, Ga.---Both westbound lanes of I-20 are now open about 45 miles west of Augusta after a major truck earlier earlier today.

One eastbound lane, from Atlanta to Augusta, was still closed at 7:30 am. The Georgia Navigator site indicated it should be open again about 1:25 pm Friday.

The State DOT says a truck carrying 24 tons of dry ammonia nitrate overturned about 2:30 am. The substance, used in blasting, began leaking.

Both westbound lanes were closed for awhile. Traffic was detoured for several hours.

Three minor injuries were reported.
