AUGUSTA, Ga.--A pedestrian is hurt after hitting a car on Washington Road.

Eliezer Beniquez was crossing Washington Road near Boy Scout toward the McDonalds when he ran into the car.

Richmond County Deputies say the man hit his head on the windshield and hurt his leg.

He was was taken to MCG. Deputies say his injuries do not appear life threatening.

Deputies say he is at fault, but right now no charges have been filed.
