NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.---A startling sight for drivers along East Martintown Road in North Augusta Friday morning.

They saw car wedged underneath a tractor-trailer not far from the Highway One bridge.

Police say it happened just before 9 a.m.

News 12 pictures show the car crushed under the truck, with some of the windows broken.

There's no word on how the accident happened.
