I know Dr. Whittaker. He truly is a wonderful person and deserves this award. He helped me through anatomy and encouraged me through my first two years of medical school. The future doctors at MCG all know and love Dr. Whittaker, and owe him a great deal for making anatomy real to us. Thanks Dr. Whittaker!

What a great story, a positive story. This man has indeed been given the gift of service. More importantly, he uses the gifts he has to serve others, multiplying the original gift. His pastor, Dr. Holmes, is so right: the world would be a better place if there were more people like David. He has inspired me, as well.
