Aiken Toastmasters Club Open House

H. Odell Weeks Center, Aiken, SC

The year was 1953,Crick and Watson published their description of the
double helix structure of DNA, color TV sets were for sale for the first
time, R Reactor started up at the Savannah River Site, and Aiken
Toastmasters has it's first meeting. Prominent Aiken Toastmasters have
included Aiken mayor Fred Cavanaugh and Aiken County Council Member Rick
Osbon. Please join us for an Open House Demonstration Meeting to celebrate
the 60th anniversary of Aiken Toastmasters. It will be in Room 3 of H.
Odell Weeks Activity Center at 6:45pm on January 24th, 2013. It will
feature a keynote speech by Cat Angus, who is is a Toastmasters Past
District Governor, and a speaking coach. Refreshments will be provided and
the Toastmasters Table Topics activity will provide guests with an
opportunity to participate in or observe (whichever they prefer) the
Toastmaster's experience. More information can be found on-line at
