The Jessye Norman School of the Arts benefit concert, “An Evening at the Opera with Shining New Stars,” will be November 11 at 5 PM, Maxwell Theatre of Performing Arts, on the campus of Augusta State University.

The Jessye Norman School of the Arts is celebrating the beginning of the 10th year of providing professional fine arts education for some of the most disadvantaged youth in our community, tuition free. In addition to daily after school instruction in dance, drama, creative writing, visual arts, and music, assistance with homework and tutorials are available daily.
