Celtic Christmas Concert

1501 Monte Sano Avenue, Augusta, GA 30904
Singer/Songwriter Carroll Brown and fiddle player Marci Shore are proud to present their twelfth annual Celtic Christmas Concert, taking place for the first time at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 1501 Monte Sano Avenue on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 7:00pm. This is a unique program filled with Spiritual, Appalachian, and traditional seasonal songs, complimented by stories of family gatherings and fireside music sessions.

Carroll Brown is a gifted acoustic guitarist and singer/songwriter from South Carolina. With more than forty years in the music business, he possesses a wealth of musical knowledge and a vast repertoire of songs and stories. Carroll performs around the American Southeast at festivals and other events and hosts annual tours overseas to Ireland and Scotland.

The Celtic Christmas Concert is scheduled for thirteen Southeast tour dates in 2015, including venues in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. This program will bring to the stage an acoustic show drawing on their Irish and Celtic roots with the Appalachian influence to offer an eclectic holiday program of traditional, mountain, original, spiritual, folksy songs and spoken word pieces. The onstage atmosphere is casual and conversational as the group banters easily between themselves and the audience.
Tickets are $15 and will be sold at the door on the evening of the event. Space will be limited and guests are encouraged to arrive early.
