Friendship Community 2016 Bargainfest

Friendship Community Center a united way agency, is hosting its annual “Mental Health Awareness Bargain Fest” from 8 am—1pm at 1720 Central Ave on Saturday May 7, 2016. There will be free mental health literature along with bargain items such as plants, LED bulbs, household items, and much more for sale. “Mental Health” is a community concern!

The health fair will have free blood pressure checks,free eye check,diabetes screening,and free h.i.v testing and much much more.The event will also have free food ,raffles,games for the kids,vendors,and live entertainment

Heat Safety Awareness Day

New Bethlehem Community Center, 1136 Conklin Avenue, Augusta, GA
Medical Associates Plus (MAP) and New Bethlehem Community Center (NBCC) will be hosting Heat Safety Awareness Day on Tuesday, May 17 and Wednesday, May 18. The day will include heat safety education, a hygiene bag giveaway, and fan distributions. Electric fans will be distributed to those who demonstrate financial need. This event is open and free to the public.
